The People behind Barkstudio

The Barkstudio-Team consists of Manfred Faust, Vegard Doszko, Nico Bertramon and Jeremias Burger.

Manfred started his studio-career in 1995 as assistant engineer on Rammstein's debut album "Herzeleid". After that, he has recorded and / or mixed bands and artists like Tokio Hotel, Nena, Stanfour, Echt, Kim Wilde, Jasmin Wagner (Blümchen), John Oerding, Céline Rudolph, A-ha (Drums on the Foot of the Mountain) and many others. Jerry has a classical education on trumpet and piano. During the last 5 years, he has been working at PrimeTime Studios in Germany, recording and mixing bands like The Rudes, Hellabama Honky Tonks, The Baboonz and many more.
Vegard has a degree in music and electric guitar from the music conservatory in Tromsø. He also plays mandolin, lapsteel, bass, and can write arrangements for wind and string instruments. He previously worked at Kysten Studio. Nico has a Bachelor's Degree from the London College of Music, diploma from Drumtech Music School, and studied sound engineering at Niss. He has taught drums at various colleges in London. In recent years, he worked as a freelance drummer and sound engineer.

The studio is owned and managed by Per Øyvind Paulsen. He has a Professional Certificate in Electronic music production and sound design from Berkleemusic.
